Trip to Disney: Day 3

Well hi there, long time no post.

So this is my Disney trip day 3, and it includes Hollywood Studio and Animal Kingdom.

So we got to Hollywood Studios really early via Friendship Launch ( I think that's what the boat is called??). We were there pretty much just in time for the rope to drop and we got in right away which was great (although I was admittedly exhausted).

We first ran over to Toy Story Midway Mania to pick up some fast passes and then got in the actual line. We probably only had to wait about 5 minutes before riding which is fantastic since the usual wait is about 2 hours long. I really enjoyed the ride. I loved how interactive and fun it was.

Next was the Tower of Terror. Before heading to Disney I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to ride, but I thought, hey, might as well I'm already here! The wait time wasn't too bad; only about 15 minutes or so. It was fun, but...I dunno just not for me xD

After that was the Voyage of the Little Mermaid show. It was a cute little show, mostly populated by families with younger kids. Afterwards we used our fast passes for toy story mania and rode again. I still thought it was great but some people in my family thought it lost some of the fun going again so soon. But hey such a short wait time I couldn't resist.

We noticed the Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow, which I don't think had officially opened at that time, and decided to get in line. To be honest it wasn't...great. I liked the concept and the set up but I felt like we literally just stood there as stuff happened around us.

Following that, we headed to Starring Rolls Cafe for some treats. I got a little parfait and I think my dad got the danish

Next (sorry for typing that so friggen many times. I'm no good at transitions) was the Beauty and Beast show, which is just an abridged version of the movie on stage. Very well done! Obviously we didn't get the best seats

The Great Movie Ride was afterwards, which I really enjoyed!

Afterwards was Stars Tours, which is pretty awesome. Then it was the Backlot tour. I don't think it was as good as the one in Universal in California, but it was great too.

While we were in Muppets 3D, it started raining pretty hard which was a huge bummer. We decided to run over to the Sci Fi Dine in Theater (we thought we were an hour early but it turned out I had the reservation mixed up and we actually turned out to be a bit late. OOPS) but we still got out yummy food so it all worked out! I took some pictures but it was so dark they look horrible.

We had some extra days remaining on our no expiration date park hopper tickets from 13 years ago so we went over to Animal Kingdom, since we didn't have enough time for a whole day there. Just 2: one for Epcot and one for MK. I loved the It's Tough to Be a Bug show!! And we went to the Safari during a parade so we didn't have to wait long at all (luckily, since it was closing soonish). We did a bit more walking around after but no rides.

Afterwards we returned to Hollywood Studios and went to the Indiana Jones show, which I though was also great!

We looked at the Osborne lights (gorgeous) and got some quick service food at Rosie's All American (probably the only meal during the trip that I wasn't happy with). I had the chicken nuggets and fries. We ate while waiting in line for Fantasmic. Great show but it was really chilly :(

All in all a fantas(m)ic day!! :)
