First real post! Alright so this post is going to be about a recent trip I took to Disney World last Christmas with my family. It's going to be split into parts because otherwise it would have been too pic heavy. Day 1 is mostly just Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk.
We stayed at the Dolphin hotel, which despite being on Disney property, is not an actual Disney hotel. There's still extra magic hours and free in park transportation, just no magical express or mickey mouse towels or anything. The lobby had a big ol' white tree since we went around Christmastime. In fact we arrived on Christmas Eve. The lobby smelled like gingerbread. So our first stop was Downtown Disney, and after waiting at the bus stop for ages, the bus finally came!
We had lunch at Cap'n Jacks. I had the pot roast sandwich (second picture) and it was delicious. Then we walked around, had some dessert, and did a bit of shopping. I got some soap, a candle, and a shampoo bar at Basin.
After taking the bus back to the hotel, we walked to the Boardwalk. After much deliberation, we decided to have pizza for dinner. We got the Boardwalk Signature Pizza, which included garlic, spinach, and mushrooms. Pretty tasty! At night the trees at our hotel were all lit up and singing every few minutes. It was, well, magical.
Sorry if this blog post wasn't too detailed; I wrote up a much more detailed version but then it got deleted ;_; Well, next time: Universal Studios!
